As a true artist, you are invited to share your work with the world. You have the talent; the Global Creative Awards has the stage for you, with fantastic rewards for the winners.
You can start planning and preparing your entry now – remember all the Editorial entries are photo shoot collections.
Entries can be submitted online between Thursday 1 July and Thursday 15 July.
Planning your Entry: Imagine, Create and Inspire!
Imagine
Let your imagination run wild. Envision your collection. What will you show the world? How will the colours, shapes and textures look? Once you have your vision, assemble your mood board to bring it to life. Review, refine and reimagine it, and repeat until you’re satisfied.
Create
Find your muse – the perfect models for your looks. Assemble your team. It’s time for you to bring your vision to life. Be clear and focused. Push yourself and make your entry as fabulous and eyecatching as it can be. BUT – remember to read the rules carefully so that your entry is valid for the category you choose and it stands the best chance of success.
Inspire
Now it’s time for you to put your creation out there and inspire the entire world! Enter your photographic work in the Global Creative Awards and share your vision with hairdressing professionals all over the globe. It’s so easy to submit your entry. Just follow the guide below.
Submitting Your Entry: Here’s the Easy Guide
Step 1: Go to www.globalcreativeawards.com, and set your location to Africa> English (ZA).
Step 2: Download the briefing kit and technical heads that you will need for your entry.
Step 3: It’s time to enter! Make sure your entry abides by all the category rules and then submit it on the www.globalcreativeawards.comwebsite, between Thursday 1 July and Thursday 15 July.
Categories to Choose From: Technical Awards and Editorial Categories
Technical Awards: New Talent Colourist is the only technical award that is open this year, and will be judged on photographic submissions only, competing on national level first, then on international.
Editorial Categories (Photographic collections): You can enter one or more of the categories below.
Men‘s hairstylist of the year
Show your mastery and expertise in men’s styling, barbering and grooming by creating a collection of cutting-edge men’s looks.
Salon team of the year
Channel the creativity of your entire salon team. Create a style collection that represents your shared vision and show the power of your team.
Avant garde stylist of the year
This is pure unbridled creativity. Push the boundaries of conventional hairstyling and dare to inspire with your collection of visionary work.
Editorial colourist of the year
Express your vision in colour. Create an editorial colour collection that showcases colour creativity, precision and vision.
The Finals and Prizes
The competition finals will be run virtually, and will take place between 1- 3 October 2021.
There are fabulous cash prizes for each category winner, as well as global editorial coverage with Estetica, and a stunning trophy for each category winner.
