Congratulations #gameofwella Winners!

The # gameofwella and People Choice Award Winners have been announced! On 1 March 2021 the wellaprofessional_sa Instagram page was buzzing with excitement. And if you missed the announcement, fear not, we’ve listed them below.

We were blown away by the intense work and creativity that all entrants put into creating their final looks. Suffice to say, it was hard to narrow down some of the best hairdressing talent to only eight winners in the respective categories.

The # gameofwella competition

The competition was designed to include both up-and-coming Wella and non-Wella stylists allowing them to explore their skills while competing on an equal platform. We challenged stylists to show their best work on their Instagram pages for an opportunity to be chosen by and international panel of judges.

# gameofwella celebrated both stylists' skills and the diversity of beauty with Wella. The competition allowed stylist to set the tone for coming trends while accentuating their model's natural beauty.

The essence of # gameofwella was entirely based on the shift we've seen in how trends develop: Not set by experts, designers, or fashion houses - but instead on the principle of connection, ignited conversations, and shared opinions.

The # gameofwella competition allowed stylist to become collective trendsetters.

This year, we added the People’s Choice Awards so that each finalist would have an extra opportunity for their loved ones and fans to vote. The winners for the People’s Choice Awards were based on the number of likes they received on the original announcement posts between 15 February and 28 February 2021 and had no relation to the Bronze, Silver and Gold winners that were judged by our international judging panel.

Congratulations to our # gameofwella winners!
