New Goldwell Global Creative Awards Announced
Exciting news! The new Goldwell Global Creative Awards have launched, with 7 different competition categories and fabulous prizes. Here's all the info on how to enter, and what the categories are.

Here is how the new format competition works.
The Look
The look is all about your personal creativity and fashion interpretation. You have the freedom to create whatever style and colour you want, without basing it on any key trend.
The Categories
There are two main sections – Technical (three categories) and Editorial (four categories)
What are the Technical Categories?
These categories start with a photo shoot submission. After judging, the national Gold winners will be invited to the international finals and compete live on the world stage! International winners will participate in a future Goldwell photo shoot, receive worldwide coverage in Estetica Magazine, and win a gold trophy.
Technical Categories are as follows
New Talent Colorist of the Year – for hairstylists with less than five years’ experience.
Creative Colorist of the Year – open to all stylists, this is the interpretation of your unique colour vision.
Creative Haircutter of the Year – Open to all passionate haircutters, show your skill in this precision cutting competition.
How to Enter Technical Categories
Submit your photographic entries via the website www.globalcreativeawards.com, together with a signed entry form and description of the formula and products used. Entries will be judged locally and the gold winner will go through to the international finals.
What are the Editorial Categories?
These categories are all new. This is a photo-only global competition of style collections (3 photos per collection as well as “before” photos of each look). It celebrates the ultimate in editorial creativity, with a fantastic cash prize of 2,500 Euros for each winner. Winners will also receive worldwide coverage in Estetica Magazine, and a gold trophy.
Editorial Categories are as follows
Men’s Hairstylist of the Year – show your mastery and expertise of men’s styling, barbering and grooming with a collection of cutting-edge men’s looks. (3 photos in the collection and 3 “before” photos)
Salon Team of the Year – celebrate the creativity of your team with a collection that represents your shared vision. (3 photos in the collection and 3 “before” photos)
Avant Garde Stylist of the Year – This is passion and creativity at its ultimate! Push the boundaries of your imagination with your inspirational collection. (3 photos in the collection and 3 “before” photos)
Editorial Colorist of the Year – Create an editorial colour collection that showcases your creativity, precision and vision. (3 photos in the collection and 3 “before” photos)
How to Enter Editorial Categories
Submit your entries via the website www.globalcreativeawards.com, together with a signed entry form. Judging will be done internationally and six global finalists in each category will be named before the winner is announced.
Competition Timeline
Entries open on 1 May 2020 and will close on 31 May 2020. As entries are submitted digitally, no late entries will be accepted so ensure you submit your entry before end of day on 31 May.
How to Enter
Please read the website carefully for the full rules in each category and make sure you submit your entry according to the rules, and by latest 31 May 2020.
Entries are open to all Goldwell stockists, and to stylists working in Goldwell salons. Goldwell colour and styling products must be used for this competition. Any of Goldwell’s brands may be used.
