The biggest competition in the Afro hair industry is under way... with an incredible R200,000 in prizes to be won!

This year’s Golden Scissors Awards theme is War Styles – are you ready for battle?

Put your skills to the test and enter the battleground... create your War Style to inspire the industry and stand your chance to win phenomenal prizes!

How to Enter

To enter, you must submit a before and after photo of your model with the After look inspired by the War Styles theme.

You can either Whatsapp your before and after photos (clearly labelled Before and After and each one including your name, salon number, region and contact number) to the competition Whatsapp number: 064 667 6145

Or you can give the entry, together with a completed entry form, to your Dark & Lovely sales consultant or hand it in at the Dark & Lovely Academy, Johannesburg. (Your sales consultant and the Academy will have entry forms)

Hair Rules

Hair must be cut and styled and can also be coloured if you wish. If hairpieces or extensions are used these must cover maximum 20% of the head – no full wigs allowed!

The Prize Pool Includes:

• R100 000 cash

• One years’ worth of Dark and Lovely stock worth R10 000.00

• A course at Dark & Lovely academy worth R40 000.00

• A trophy

• Salon upgrade to the value of R50 000

• 1 year publicity and collaboration contract with Dark and Lovely
