UIF Ters Updated Claim Info and Contact Details

We are aware that many salons are still battling with the slow and seemingly endless quest to obtain UIF Ters payouts for staff. Have patience and keep hopeful – we are hearing every day of additional payouts being made, and the system was never designed to accommodate such a massive flood of applications.

There has been an update to the Covid-19 TERS UIF process. Employees whose employer claims for UIF through the TERS scheme, can now get paid directly into their bank accounts, rather than into their employer’s account. This means that employees will have quicker access to their relief money as they do not have to wait for their employer to transfer the funds. Employees who want to know if their employer has been paid out the UIF can check up using this LINK
