I was inspired by the mythological story of King Midas and his golden touch. The Greek god Dionysus granted Midas with this gift which turned to curse, everything he touched turned to gold. Dionysus is the Greek god of wine & fertility and he was known to have a modest number of lovers. In this collection I wanted to mesh editorial with mythology and storytelling.
